Agnes Lucie Stebner

December 2, 1922 — February 4, 2010

Agnes L. (Weiss) Stebner, 87, of New Paris passed away on February 4, 2010 at the Rose Gate Village in Richmond, Indiana. Agnus was born on December 2, 1922 in East Prussia, Germany, daughter of the late Franz and Augusta (Grunan) Weiss.
Agnes moved to New Jersey in 1952, where she retired as a Production Planner for Unisys (previously Burroughs). She then moved to Rocky Mount, Virginia and later in 2000 moved to Ohio. Agnes loved church and was passionate about missions. She had a servant’s heart, always wanting to give and never take. Agnes also loved to crochet.
Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Stebner, whom she married on January 8, 1941. Kurt passed away in 1995.
Agnes is survived by two daughters, Karin A. Stebner–Meister of Phoenix, Arizona and Regina “Gina” Moore and husband Mark of New Paris; one son, Udo “Joe” Joachim Stebner and wife Susie of Kandern, Germany; five grandchildren, Melissa Meister of Tucson, Arizona, Amy Stebner of Richmond, Indiana, J. Scott Stebner of Richmond, Indiana, Lukas Moore of New Paris, and Andrew and wife Lacy Moore of New Madison; and two great grandchildren, Caitlin and Clara Moore of New Madison.
There will be private services at the convenience of the family and burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Family asked that memorial contributions be given to support Joe and Susie Stebner serving at an international Christian school, Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany. Donations will be accepted at Cedar Grove Church.
