Annabelle C. Rieman, 93, of Ansonia passed away late Wednesday evening, December 26 at the Dayton Heart Hospital. She was born in Versailles the daughter of the late Howard and Goldie (Pitsenbarger) Armstrong. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer F. Rieman in March of 1975; a grandson, John Rieman, 2 granddaughters, Melisaa Rieman and Jennifer Middlestetter; a sister, Mary Oliver and two brothers, Marion and Clyde Armstrong. A homemaker, Annabelle was a member of the Ansonia First Church of God. She is survived by her children, Gene and wife Marie Rieman of New Weston, Jerry and wife Peggy Rieman of Bradford, Tom and wife Janet Rieman of Rossburg, Mary and husband Chris Cox of Greenville and Joe Rieman and special friend Shirley of Versailles; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Services will be held Monday, December 31 at 10:30 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Tim Schrock officiating. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday, December 30 from 2-5 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to either the Ansonia Rescue or the American Heart Association.
