Donna Adine (Wilson) Bennett, 85, of Ansonia passed away Saturday morning, November 17 at the Versailles Health Care Center. She was born in Darke County, daughter of the late Ernest R. and Mabel B. (Wagaman) Wilson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Barbara Ellen and an infant son. Adine was retired from the Ansonia Schools where she had worked in the cafeteria for over 22 years. She was a member of the Ansonia First Church of God and was passionate about her flowers and cooking. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Bennett whom she married December 15, 1943; her sons, John D. and wife Phyllis (Stevens) Bennett of Ansonia; William E. and wife Jett (Haworth) Bennett of Greenville; 6 grandchildren, Jodi Bennett of Greenville; Lindsay Bennett of Cincinnati; Kim and husband Chad Marker of Ansonia; Kelly and husband Jason Kelch of Ansonia; Nikki and husband Mitch Pearson of Eldorado; Kristen and husband Trevor Gosnell of Greenville; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn and husband Kenneth Brunswick of Greenville; and cousins Miriam Wendel and Dr. Marvin Cain both of Versailles. A celebration of Adine's life will be held Wednesday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m at the Ansonia First Church of God with the Revs. Tim Schrock and Lee Wallace co-officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. till time of services at 10:30. The family request that memorial contributions be given to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
