Helen is survived by her husband, James M. Bubemyre, whom she married in March of 1995; her daughters, Roxanne (Mark) Beck and Carla L. (Randy) Hill-Clark, all of Greenville; her grandson, Jared Clark and great grandsons, Maximus and Dominic Clark, all of Greenville; her sister, Carol S. Schuler of Hamilton, Ohio; her nieces, Pam (Ken) Brewer, Sheryl Yount, all of Greenville, and LeighAnn Husky of Trenton, Ohio; her nephews, Delbert Yount Jr. of Versailles, Ohio, David A. Oda and Rick Yount of Greenville, and Shawn McGuire of Union City, Ohio; and many great nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved dogs, Miss Beagle and Joey, her cats, Oscar, Chub Chub, Stray and her closest friend, her cat Mr. Kitty.

Helen's work history was much different than your average Mom and Wife. Helen didn't need to work in the late 60's and early 70's. She was one of the few lucky ones who got to stay home and raise her two girls. She took the greatest pride in knowing her two girls did not need a sitter. She was always there.

In the Early 70's, Helen would try her hand at Stover's candling eggs for a short period of time. Thereafter, she became a housekeeper/aid for a traveling salesman taking care of his wife who was ill. She worked many years for Glenn Johnson and Associates. By the early 80's she became an active Member in the Darke County Humane Society where she would become an Assistant Humane Agent and Foster for over 20 years. She was a lifetime member of the Darke County Humane Society. She later started her own business with Animals christening it Home Pet Security. Between her business and The Humane Society, Helen kept very busy. Animals meant the world to her. She once said that she had went further into the animal world and that's where she would stay but many could not understand that. She also once said Animals are my medicine. They keep me sane. They are good for my soul.

She was a member of the Eagles Chapter 2177 for 46 years having joined in 1976. She was also a member of the moose for over 40 years as well. Helen enjoyed dancing in the later 70's and spent much time doing such. Helen turned her attention in the 80's to her business and her animals. Animals were her life and had given her undying love and joy through the years.

Helen loved collecting various items, as well as going to garage sales and auctions. It was never really one thing she collected. She loved collecting a variety of items, antiques, and many statues of animals. She may have had more than enough already but to her there was always room for one more treasure.

Her memories, years later, were what carried her thru each day and kept her yearning for just one more to add to her collection. She was the Greatest Lady and Mom there ever could be.
