James D. Yount, 68, of Hollansburg, Ohio and formerly of Union City, IN, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, July 25, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1943 in Greenville, OH, son of the late Harold H. and Betty June (Brown) Yount. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie L. (Baker) Yount.   James had worked for over 20 years at the former Dayton Press and then retired as the superintendent of the Union City Indiana Water Department where he had worked for 23 years. He attended the Friendship Community Church, New Paris, Ohio.   He is survived by his second wife, Christine (Bowling) Yount whom he married November 12, 1971;sons, Reuben R. Yount of Greenville, Darrin (Shelly) Keiser of Winchester, IN, Dennis (Jackie) Keiser of Nappanee, IN, and Stephen Scott (Pam) Yount of Union City, IN; a daughter, Rebecca (Bob) Ammons of Phoenix City, Alabama; grandchildren, Kelly Yount, David (Amber) Kiser, Rick and Nicole Yount, Tiffany (Chase) Borel, Joshua (Ashley) Stewart, Jessa, Mitchell and Alexandra Keiser, Hayden and Dylan Keiser, Stephani Prather, Mickinzie Hogg, Levi Yount, Brian and Brook Roberts; 4 great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Cottrell-Gibson of Greenville; a niece and a nephew.   Services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, OH with Pastor Dennis Riffell officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison, OH.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Friendship Community Church.
