Jason David Hale

Jason David Hale, 37 of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at his home. Jason was born on September 14, 1970 to Jay Allen Hale and the late Sharron (McCabe) Michael in Wabash, Indiana.
Jason was in sales and self-employed. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. Jason was a huge NASCAR fan and loved racing; but mostly he loved spending time with his children, family and friends. Jason was a former member of the United States Air Force. He was also a member of Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren.
He is preceded in death by his mother Sharon (McCabe) Michael on February 12, 2007.
Jason is survived by his wife Rebecca (Bruner) Hale whom he married on September 9, 2003; one daughter, Shelby Hale; two sons, Jason Hale, Jr. and Kasen Hale; parents, Jay Allen and wife Saundra Hale, Dick Michael and Tom and Shirley Bruner; three brothers, Rodd and his wife Brenda Hale of Arcanum, Matthew and his wife Beth Hale of Greenville, and Tony and his wife Paula Hale of Savannah, Georgia; three sisters, Shelly and her husband Rick Bohn of Greenville, Renee Barns of Barstow, California, and Tammy Hale of Greenville; a sister-in-law Kim and husband Jamie Hileman, many nieces and nephews, family and great friends.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Friday, May 9th from 5-8 PM at Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren with services on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 AM also at the church with Rev. Jim Vandermark being asked to officiate. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family in lieu of flowers to the Jason Hale Memorial Fund at any Farmers State Bank. Donations will be accepted at the church.
