John Michael Warner

John Michael Warner, 16, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on December 29, 2010 . John was born in Dayton on December 8, 1994 to Pat and Shelly Warner of Arcanum.

John was a sophomore at Franklin Monroe High School and played baseball for the jets. He worked for Rex Stewart helping on the farm. John had many joys in his life like hanging out with his friends, spending time with family, taking care of his Ford F350 truck, but his love in life was farming and raising hogs for kids to show at the fair. He was a member of the Franklin Monroe FFA and the Pleasant View church youth group.

John is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Thelma Dail,Mary Wilfong, and Loren and Ioda Brown.

In addition to his parents, John is survived by his sister. Lauren, twin brother Jessie, brothers Sam and AJ;; grandparents Norbert and Judy Warner of Tipp City, Dick and Sue Kemp of Arcanum, and Dave and Kathy King of Greenville; a great grandmother Wavelene Woodall of Greenville; Uncle Mike King of Greenville and two cousins Kalista and Simeon King of Greenville; Uncle Gary (Geri) Rickard of Tallahassee; Aunt Kelley Rickard of Miami, FL; Cousins Erik, Beth, and Ty of Tavares, FL.

Family will receive friends from 2 –7 PM on Sunday January 2, 2011 at the Pleasant View Missionary Church 5231 Gettysburg-Pitsburg Road. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 3, 2011 also at the church with Pastors Rob Dauber and Brad Reineke officiating. Family requests memorial contributions be given to help with upgrades to the hog barns at the Darke County Fair Grounds or Farm Safety 4 Just Kids. Donations accepted at the church and funeral home.
