Katlin Renee Crawford

October 22, 1990 — January 31, 2020

Katlin "Katie" Crawford, 29, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020, at her residence.

Katie was born on October 22, 1990, in Greenville, to Vicki Wagner of Greenville and Steve Crawford of Greenville.

Katie was preceded in death by her son, Keegan Mowry; her paternal grandparents, Paul and Glenna Crawford; and her maternal grandfather, Thomas Wagner.

Katie was a kind and gentle person. She was caring and thoughtful; compassionate and giving. These traits were shown through her love of animals and the care and love she would give her pets. She would take in any stray animal and show them what being loved felt like. Tucker, her four-legged baby, was adopted over five years ago. They spent their days together and loved every minute. Besides her love of animals was her love of movies and music. She loved snuggling up to Tucker and watching a movie or just enjoying the soothing sounds of John Mayer and Jack Johnson.

Katie also loved her two-legged family. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews; sharing road trips to Cedar Point or any other destination. As long as she was with them, she was happy. She and Maya had a special bond. Though this link is broken, the bond will never be severed.

In addition to her parents, Katie is survived by her siblings, Christa Gerdemann and her husband, Brian, of Findlay, Ohio, Nicholas Crawford and his wife, Natalie, of Frankfort, Michigan, Elizabeth Knick and her husband, Cory, of Alexandria, Virginia, and Robert "Cole" Spitler of West Manchester, Ohio; her step-mother, Joyce Crawford of Greenville; her grandmother, Linda Wagner of Laura, Ohio; her nieces and nephews, Steven, Maya, and Brady; numerous aunts and uncles; her special friends, Clayton Hans and his son, Thomas; and her beloved dog, Tucker.

Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of Katie's family.
