Kevin R. Bruner

Kevin R. Bruner, 39, Greenville, passed away early Saturday morning in Greenville. He was born in Greenville, son of the late Richard Bruner and Pamela (Tucker) Bruner-Murphy of Hudson, FL. Kevin was a self employed heavy equipment specialist. He was a 1988 graduate of Greenville High School. He served in The US Air Force having been stationed in Korea. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Eagles Lodge all of Greenville. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Teresa (Alexander) Bruner; a daughter, Holly Sue Bruner and a son Kyle Richard Bruner both of Greenville; sisters, Honey Whittington of Kissimmee, FL, and Michelle Eaton of Florida; a brother, Gordon James of New York; step fathers, Richard Murphy and Donald James; an aunt Mary Delk; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A graveside service with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held Thursday, October 8 at 11 a.m. at the Abbottsville Cemetery with Rev. Sam Hoeflich officiating. There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Kevin R. Bruner Memorial Fund at Greenville National Bank, for his children. Services have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
