Lillie Irene Keller

Lillie Irene Keller, 89, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.

She was born on August 31, 1932, in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Isaac and Amanda (Long) Kreitzer.

In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Keller, who passed away on August 1, 2006; her siblings, George Kreitzer , Dale Kreitzer, Leonard Kreitzer, Mildred Troutwine, Mary Ester Everman, Virginia Smith, Ralph Kreitzer, and Forest Kreitzer.

Irene spent her life caring for her family as a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and would always keep an eye on the neighborhood. In her free time, Irene enjoyed going shopping and taking advantage of the many garage sale deals. Irene was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Greenville.

Irene is survived by her son, Harold Keller of Greenville; her special nieces and nephews, Darlene Taylor, Raymond and Janice Penny, Glenn Kreitzer, and Mary Kreitzer, and many other nieces and nephews; as well as many other extended family.

A celebration of Irene's life will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Alan Knoke officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery.

Guests may visit with Irene's family on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
