Linda Sue Smith

Linda Sue Smith, 81, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Reid Heath in Richmond.

She was born on December 15, 1939, in Richmond to the late Stanley and Mary (Woltja) Judy.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Smith, Sr.

Linda was a simple woman who loved her family. She spent her life as a homemaker raising her family alongside her husband, James. In her free time, it was not uncommon to find Linda knitting, crocheting, and baking. Overall, Linda's family was the most important thing to her.

Linda is survived by her children, James E. (Rhonda) Smith, Jr., of Eaton, Ohio, Sara (Brad) Quinn of Economy, Indiana, Westley (Jennifer) Smith of Richmond, and Brandee Smith of Richmond; her grandchildren, Craig Smith of Lewisburg, Ohio, Alan (Sarah) Delk of Richmond, Phillip Delk of New Paris, Ohio, Patrick Jack of Richmond, Chel'c Fortner of Richmond, Kelsey (Carlie Reid) Smith of Richmond, Aaron (Alyssa) Smith of Alabama, and Jocelyn (Parker Holland) Smith of Richmond; and her 7 great grandchildren.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
