Lloyd Eugene Shaeffer

Lloyd Eugene Shaeffer, 93, of Greenville, Formerly of Tipp City, passed away on December 1, 2017 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.

Lloyd was born on October 20, 1924 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Mark and Pearl (Miller) Shaeffer.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Haller) Shaeffer; one brother and one sister.

Lloyd served his country honorably during WWII, serving in the Army Air Corp.

Lloyd is survived by his children, and their spouses, Wilma and Michael Sheets of Tipp City, Ohio, Michael and Alice Shaeffer of Rochester Hills, Michigan, and Jo Ann and Paul Wehner of Tomball, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren with one more on the way; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 11am, Monday, December 4, 2017 at Wares Chapel Cemetery, south of West Manchester on Foos Road.
