Loetta L. Leis

Loetta L. Leis, 89, of Greenville, passed away Friday, March 14, 2008 at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville. She was born July 30, 1918 in Darke Co., daughter of the late Isiah & Silvia (Reese) Shoop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Leis on Feb. 22, 2006; a brother, Glen Shoop; and a sister, Juanita Piper. A homemaker, Loetta was a member of the Ansonia First Church of God. She is survived by 3 sons & daughters-in-law; Donald & Barbara Leis, Duane & Sharon K. Leis, Douglas & Donna Leis, all of Greenville; a daughter & son-in-law, Sharon & Tom Hollinger of New Madison; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a brother & sister-in-law, Carl & Alice Shoop of Greenville; and a sister & brother-in-law, Evelyn & Dale Prescott of Union City, IN. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at the Ansonia First Church of God, with Revs. Lee Wallace and Tim Schrock officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Twp. Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, OH, Tuesday, March 18, 2008, from 5-8 PM. The family request memorial contributions be given to the First Church of God Youth Group.
