Margaret E. "Peggy"

Margaret E. "Peggy" Sneary, 84, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord with her family by her side on Wednesday afternoon, December 1, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born January 11, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Everet Nevin and Eva Mae (Copeland) Price. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Price. Other than her family, one of Peg's favorite things  was flying and traveling. Her and Len spent many years enjoying this activity together. With Len having his pilot license, Peg was also certified to fly from both the co-pilot and pilot's seats. In the 1970's Len and Peg even took their plane to Alaska going north of the Arctic Circle. Together they enjoyed numerous other vacations and cruises together while giving each other wonderful memories to cherish. Peg is survived by her husband of 66 years, Len Sneary, Jr.; four daughters, Vickie (Bill) Martin of Greenville, Nancy (Charles) Rummel of Tucson, AZ, Suzanne (Bob) Farmer of Austin, TX , and Cindy Austen of Greenville. She was also loved by 4 granddaughters, Melissa, Sharon, Lisa and Katherine; 5 grandsons, Jeff, Mike, Brian, Cody and Chris; and 12 great grandchildren, Tiffany, Chelsea, Sydney, Travis, Justin, Austen, Ashley, Kyler, Alex, Kennedy, Trevar and Brooklynne. Private services were held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Gary Oser officiating. Burial followed in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family requests that  memorial contributions be given to the Greenville Missionary Church.
