Mary Evelyn Crose

Mary Evelyn Crose, 73, of Greenville, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 19, 2013, at Heartland of Greenville.

She was born March 26, 1940, in Darke County, daughter of the late David H. and Treva E. (Stout) Bryson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Bryson.

Mary Evelyn had worked as a nursing assistant at the former Union City Hospital. She was a member of the Community United Methodist Church near Union City.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Crose of Greenville, Charles (Bev)Crose of Bellefontaine, and Christine (Bobby) Peters of Muncie, IN; grandchildren, Justin, Sarah, Micha, Faith, Rachael, and Patty; great grandchildren, Madison, Mikey, and Colton; a sister, Karen Young of Greenville; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 24, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Raper Chapel Cemetery near Union City.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12 p.m. till 1 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Heartland Hospice.
