Mary Lou Shahan

Mary Lou Shahan, 75, of Greenville went to be with her Lord Tuesday morning, May 20 at her residence. She was born in Union City, IN, daughter of the late Harry D. and Ruby M. (Bruss) Benner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira J. Shahan on September 1, 2002. Mary was retired from Fram/Allied Signal in Greenville where she had worked as an inspector. After retirement she did product demo's in many different stores. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Greenville and was an avid painter/artist. She is survived by a son, David Shahan of Piqua; a daughter-in-law, Jane Shahan of Greenville; a granddaughter, Erica Price of Greenville; and a sister, Vera M. McGlothlin of Union City, IN. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 24 at 11 a.m. at the Snell Cemetery with the Rev. Eric Fee officiating. There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville.
