Michael A. Young

Michael A. Young, 47, of Ansonia, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, November 27, 2012 at his residence.

He was born May 23, 1965 in Greenville, son of Larry and Jane (Wisner) Young of New Weston.

Mike was a 1983 graduate of Mississinawa Valley. He was a heavy equipment operator for Erie Boring LLC.

In addition to his parents he was survived by his wife of 12 years, Laura M. (Yaney) Young, whom he married July 14, 2000; step children, Dustin Hoening, Star Ahrens, and Katie (Scott) Daisy; 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; a sister, Melissa (Jeff) Young; a nephew, Casey (Sarah) Young; and great niece, Lilly.

Private services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Kelly Moody officiating.

There will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
