Mickel Blankenship

Mickel Blankenship, 58, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home.

He was born on August 6, 1962, in Grundy, Virginia, to the late Willard and Ethel Sue Blankenship.

Mickel loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed deer hunting and was an expert hunter. He previously worked in landscaping, at a local nursery, and with horses. However, after he retired, his primary job was being a Grandpa to his 5 grandchildren, who called him Papaw.

Mickel is survived by his daughters, Katrina (Juan Rivera) Blankenship of Greenville, and Beth (Matt) Hawes of Liberty Township, Ohio; his grandchildren, Lilliana, Elena, Zayden, Jordan, and Alana; and his former spouse, Annette Blankenship.

At this time there are no services scheduled for Mickel.
