Myron Jay Damewood, a husband, father, and minister, of Union City, Ohio, died unexpectedly on November 25, 2020, due to complications with coronavirus.

Myron is survived by his wife, Kristena (Reier) Damewood; his 6 children, Micah, Kasey, Sheldon, Quinton, McKenzie, Seanna and their spouses; his sister, Talena and her spouse; and his 3 grandchildren.

Myron was born September 27, 1959, in Randolph County, Indiana, to Lane Damewood and the late Marilyn (Law) Damewood. He married Kristena on October 5th, 1979 and spent 41 wonderful years together. He was a devoted father for over 35 years. He was also known by many through his sales profession in the automotive part's industry. But above all, Myron was known for his love for God as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where he attended at the Kingdom Hall in Greenville, Ohio.

Myron loved spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, having campfires with loved ones, and working with his hands. He was privileged to be an integral part of all of his children’s lives. His wife will always remember the emotional support and loving demeanor he displayed. He enjoyed helping others and sharing his faith with many he came in contact with. He will deeply be missed and remembered by his family, friends, congregation, and all who knew him.

A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held on Saturday, December 5th, 2020.
