Peggy J. Mccoy

Peggy J. McCoy, 67, of Greenville, passed away Friday afternoon, October 12 at her residence. She was born March 15, 1940 in Darke County, daughter of the late Harley and Edith M. (Johnson) McCoy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. McCoy on June 27, 2005;a granddaughter, Danielle Whitehead on May 7, 2004; a brother, Lester Richards and a sister Patty Richards. Peggy was a member of the New Beginnings Church of Christ and had worked at Neff Lettering, Poultry Producers and Stemley's Cannery. She is survived by her children, Julie M. Ell, Mary (Lynn) Ullery, Woodrow L. "Woody" McCoy and Randy J. McCoy all of Greenville; Roberta L. (McCoy) Whitehead of Piqua; 3 grandsons, Christopher Whitehead, Ryan Ullery and Michael Ullery;4 brothers, Stan Richards of Ansonia; Steve Richards of Xenia; Keith Richards of Pikeville and Jim Richards of Kentucky; and a sister, Lois Marshall of Union City. Services will be held Tuesday October 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Willard Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Beamsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
