Rhoda Elaine Baker

Rhoda Elaine Baker, 60, of Union City, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2012 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Rhoda was born on April 17, 1952in Richmond, Indiana to Gilbert Bemis and the late Alberta (Arey) Bemis.
Rhoda worked as a Home maker through her life. She loved crafts and going to church where she loved to sing in the choir. Rhoda was a loving grandmother, mom and wife that sacrificed herself for others.
In addition to her mother, Rhoda is preceded in death by her step mom, Mary Bemis.
Rhoda is survived by her father, Gilbert Bemis; husband, Steven Baker, Sr.; two sons, Steven Baker Jr. of Florida and Timothy and wife Andreea Baker of Portland, OR; a daughter, Kimberly and husband Darrin Keagy of Union, City; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild father, five brothers, Steve Bemis of Troy, Ohio, William and Desirea Kley of Portland, MI, Carl Brandt of Richmond, Indiana, Tony Glasco of Ansonia, Ohio and Dean and Melody Creech of Centerville, Ohio and one sister, Brenda Finnell of Hamilton, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held on September 5, 2012 at 11 AM at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Family request memorial contributions be given to Braund Funeral Home, P.O. Box 191, New Madison, Ohio 45346.
