Roberta J. Wilson

Roberta J. Wilson, 78, of Ft. Jefferson, OH, passed away unexpectedly at her residence Friday morning, October 24, 2008. She was born in Jay County, Indiana, daughter of the late Orville and Martha (Stump) Shanneyfelt. Roberta was retired from Neff Lettering in Greenville. She was a member of the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church and the Town Squares Quilt Club. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald W. Wilson, whom she married June 26, 1949; son, Gailen (Dianna) Wilson of Greenville; daughter, Pamela Boolman of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Kyley (Jay) Pearson and Korey Wilson; a great grandson, Connor Pearson; and brothers and sister; Dale (Ann) Shanneyfelt of Kissimmee, FL, Alice (Eugene) Roberts of Winchester, IN, Mark (Sharon) Shanneyfelt Elkhart, IN, and Paul (Leota) Shanneyfelt of Portland, IN. Services will be held Tuesday, October 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Ft. Jefferson. The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, OH on Monday from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church.
