Roberta M. Rogers

Roberta M. Rogers, 77, a resident of Brookdale of Greenville and formerly of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on May 23, 2022, at EverHeart Care Center in Greenville.

She was born on February 10, 1945 in Greenville, to the late Robert and B. Marie (Rank) Miller.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Donald D. Rogers, whom she married on December 28, 1963, and passed away on October 12, 2011; her siblings, Bob Miller, Maxine Martin, Dick Miller, Ronnie Miller, and Janice Wolf; and her in-laws, Alvah and Velma (Eshelman) Rogers, Pauline Green, Opal Ritz, Shirley Bussard, Margaret Jane Robinson, Kathleen Phillips, and Robert Rogers.

Roberta was a 1963 graduate of Greenville High School. After graduation, Roberta attended beauty school and became a licensed beautician. She then received her associate's degree in business from Edison State Community College. Roberta spent her life as a farm wife, as well as, working in marketing and advertising throughout the years. Roberta was a life-long learner. She was always looking to learn something new, and to teach someone else something new. In her free time, Roberta enjoyed gardening, reading, doing crosswords, and trivia. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cookies for her grandchildren.

Roberta is survived by her children, Renee (Barry) Glasscoe of Pitsburg, Rhonda (Eric,II) Rich of Arcanum, and Darren Rogers of Salisbury, Maryland; her grandchildren, Gavin (Ann) Glasscoe, Gentry (Jordan) Glasscoe-Schlamb, Hudson Rich, and Hunter Rich; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Connor, and Cooper.

A private family service will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial will follow in Ithaca Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Edison Foundation, in care of the Roberta Rogers Scholarship Fund, 1973 Edison Drive, Piqua, Ohio 45356.
