Sandra S. Nakamura

Sandra S. Nakamura, 69, of Greenville, was called to Heaven, Saturday, April 2, 2011, from Wayne Healthcare in Greenville. She was born April 27, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Roy Sunday and Dorothy (Miller) Kluhsman. A homemaker, she had worked as a medical biller in California prior to moving back to retire in Greenville. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Walter M. Nakamura, whom she married on May 8, 1975; children, Bill (Sue) Hixenbaugh of Portland, IN, Pennie Baker, Ruth Hixenbaugh and James Nakamura all of Greenville; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Sunday of Riverside, OH. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 7, at 1 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, with Rev. Joe Soley officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12 p.m. till 1 p.m.
