Shane A. Waters

Shane A. Waters, 33, of New Madison, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2008 in Cordele, Ga. Shane was born on February 1, 1975 in Wabash, Indiana son of the late Dale Waters and Cynthia (Robinson) Tidd.
Shane was an active firefighter for the New Madison Volunteer Fire Department in New Madison for the last 3 years and worked as an EMT for 5 years at the Tri Village Rescue Squad.
Shane is survived by two step daughters Cassey and Erin Hollansworth and a step son Zach Hollansworth.
Shane will be missed by the family, friends and community he loved and served.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Castine Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Greg Hyre will officiate. There will be a casket watch by the New Madison Volunteer Fire Department and Tri Village Rescue starting at 9:30 a.m.
Family ask that memorial contributions be made to a benevolence fund for his children or the New Madison volunteer fire department, donations being received at the church.
