Sharon K. Burns

Sharon K. Burns, 56, of Ansonia, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, August 10, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Greenville, daughter of the late Frank J. and Gladys (Gibbons) Poffenberger. A homemaker, Sharon was a 1970 graduate of the Ansonia High School. She is survived by her children, Scott (Yvonne) Burns of Ansonia and Stacy Burns of Columbus; grandchildren, Lauren and Nicholas Burns; a brother, Dennis (Brenda) Poffenberger of Laura; a sister, Karon (Perry) Williamson of Gratis; and nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with burial to follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. There will be no public visitation.
