Shirley Ann Miller

November 3, 1935 — June 14, 2020

Shirley A. Miller, 84, of Celina, Ohio, formerly of New Weston, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at the Miller Place in Celina.

She was born on November 3, 1935, in Rossburg, Ohio, to the late Basil and Helen (McGlinch) Subler.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Leon Miller, whom she married November 20, 1951; one great grandchild; her brothers, Richard Subler and Thomas Subler; her sister and brother-in-law, Barb and Ronald Bartman; and her brother-in-law, Bob Clark.

Shirley worked for Neff Lettering in Greenville for over 24 years. She also worked for Lamberts in Ansonia and Stemley's Canning in New Weston. Shirley was a proud farm wife and loved to be outside alongside her husband. She enjoyed gardening and canning. When she was not outside, you could find Shirley inside cleaning. She loved cooking for her family, and she would never let anyone leave hungry. She liked being with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her children, Terry (Diana) Miller of New Weston, and Sherry (Steve) Coby of Celina; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Rodney (Alcesta) Subler of Greenville, Jean Clark of Greenville, Judy (Norman) Warner of Gettysburg, Ohio, and Janet (Craig) Van Patton of Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will take place at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
