Sue Ann (Moyer) Gorrell

July 30, 1947 — April 17, 2015

Sue Ann (Moyer) Gorrell, 68, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 17, 2015 at her residence. Sue was born on July 30, 1947 in Arcanum, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Alice (Wheeler) Moyer.

Sue was a graduate of Arcanum High School. She was a retired Vice President of Greenville Federal in Greenville and former Vice President of the St. Regis Paper Company in Dayton. Sue was also the treasurer of the Shelter for Violence in Darke County. She enjoyed her church and volunteered in several aspects including, singing in the choir, acting in plays, volunteering for the U Turn youth group, and serving at banquets and funeral dinners. She enjoyed scuba diving, organizing and participating in the 127 garage sales, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Gorrell of Greenville, Ohio; son, Robert and Melinda Gorrell of Greenville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Mackinzie, Logan and Dakota Gorrell; two brothers, Bill Moyer and Kim Moyer both of Dayton, and her best friend, Peggy Sonner of Greenville.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Greenville with Rev. Hershel Fee officiating. Friends and family may visit from 5 - 8 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2015 also at the church. Burial will be in the Abbottsville Cemetery. The family request memorial contributions be given to Lighthouse Christian Center in memory of Sue.
