Tammy Jo Shapiro

January 19, 1949 — August 11, 2017

Tammy Jo Shapiro, 68, of Greenville, passed away on early Friday morning, August 11, 2017 at her home.

She was born on January 19, 1949 in Union City, IN, to the late Robert and Pauline (Fink) Lyons.

Tammy was a caring wife and wonderful mother to her two sons. She was proud of them and the men they had become. She was a kind-hearted person who liked everyone and everyone liked her. Above all else, she enjoyed being with her family and was very close to them, especially her father. She and Frank would spend many hours out on Indian Lake on their pontoon boat or cruising the county on their motorcycle. She truly enjoyed those times. Tammy loved all creatures, great and small. She would even make Frank capture and release spiders. She had a kind heart and a tender soul. Her family was truly blessed to have had her in their lives and she will be sorely and profoundly missed.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 17 years, Frank Shapiro, whom she married September 25, 1999; her sons, Dallas Humpolak of Arcanum, and Travis Humpolak of Greenville and their father, Andy Humpolak; her sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Larry Masters of Safety Harbor, Florida; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Kim and Lynn Lyons of Pitsburg, and Kirby and Carolyn Lyons of Greenville; nieces, spouses and their children, Heather and Michael Werner and children Mason and Emma, all of Grenville, Kristi and Dustin Morr of Greenville, Paige and Deric Shuster and their son Preston, all of Safety Harbor, Florida, and Shelly Masters of Tampa, Florida.
