William "Bill" Louis Sloboda

William "Bill" L. Sloboda, 73, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2014 at State of the Heart Hospice Unit in Greenville. Bill was born on June 1, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Louis and Elizabeth (Buck) Sloboda.
Bill retired from General Motors in 1991 and after retirement he went to work for Smedley's in the sales department. He had a degree in Sociology and Business Administration from Wright State University. Bill was a member of the SASS (Single Action Shooting Society), St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a Kentucky Colonial. He loved to hunt, Fish, spend time house boating and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his first wife, Sherri Sloboda in January of 1993 and his son, Steve Sloboda in February 2000.
Bill is survived by his wife Pam (Conover) Sloboda; daughters, Tracie and Chuck Parsons of Indianapolis, Indiana and Sue and Nathan Smith of Atlanta Georgia; grandchildren, Alexis Parsons, Adam and Courtney Summers, Kevin Summers, Matthew Sloboda, Magan SlobodaLauren Schatsley, Yannick Smith and Nathan Smith Jr.; a sister, Gail and John Robinson of Clayton, Ohio.
A celebration of life open house will be held on March 2, 2014 from 2-4 pm at Chappys, 2733 W Alex Bell Rd, Moraine, OH 45459. Also a graveside service on March 14, 2014 at 2 PM in Shiloh Park Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. Family request memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice in memory of Bill.
