William "Bill" Edgar Riegle, 92, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio.

He was born on February 14, 1929, in Fort Jefferson, Ohio, to the late Glen and Grace (Hittle) Riegle.

After a friend drove him part way, he managed to walk the remaining 10 miles to Willowdell to see Betty. They resided over 58 years on their farm outside of New Madison where they raised two children, Larry and Connie. Bill loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Together, Bill and Betty were faithful members of the New Madison United Methodist Church.
