William H. Jones

William H. Jones Jr. 72, Richmond, In. went home to be with the Lord Wed. Sept. 15, 2010. He was born Jan. 6, 1938 in Richmond, Indiana to the late William Jones Sr. and Alta Mae (Fox) Gard. He married Donna J. Sullenbarger who is deceased. William then married Ethel Combs who is deceased also. Survivors include his children, Beverly (Mark) Smith, Hollansburg, Oh. Sheril (Rick) Kerr, England, Brenda (Kevin) Merkle, Van Wert, Oh. David (Lynn) Jones, Hollansburg, Oh. Kathy Bowers, Connersville, In. and Butch (Darla) Starks of Pennsylvania. He had 2 step children, Randy Starks, Florida and Teresa Baker, Hollansburg, Oh. William had 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, along with several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. He has two sisters Rose (Noah) Lewis of Hollansburg, Oh and Sandy Jones; one brother Rick Jones. He was proceeded in death by 2 brothers, John & Jim Gard and 2 sisters Carolyn Musselman and Patrica Batten. He also shared a special friendship and with Ann Starks, Greenville, Oh. There will be no funeral service, a family & friends gathering will be held at the Community Building at the park in Hollansburg, Oh. Sunday Sept. 19, 3-5 p.m. Preferred memorials to the American Cancer Society.
