Anita Louise McMiller

Anita McMiller passed away peacefully at 9:18 am on March 6, 2026 at Ayden Health Care in Greenville, Ohio.

She was born on January 12, 1956 to the late Dave Bosserman and Joan Collett.

Anita was preceded in death by both her parents; a brother, Doug Barhorst; and nephew, Clayton Buzzard.

Anita is survived by her son Jason (Molly) McMiller; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Brett) Campbell, Hunter McMiller; great -grandson, Huxley Campbell; sisters, Annette Buzzard of Greenville and Darla McMiller of Texas; brother, Dennis Barhorst of Georgia; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Anita was a reserved person who rarely sought the spotlight, preferring the quiet comfort of familiar faces and peaceful moments. Above all, she shared an unbreakable bond with her twin sister, Annette.

Family meant everything to Anita. She showed her love not through grand gestures, but through steady care, thoughtful acts, and the warmth she gave to those around her. At home, she found special joy in caring for her cats, tending to them with the same gentle devotion she showed her loved ones. In their quiet company, Anita felt most at peace.
