Becky Jo Clifton

Becky Jo Clifton, age 75, of Greenville, passed away on September 1, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on November 27, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Russell "Pete" Edwin and Lillie Ida (Ingle) Reed.

In addition to her parents, Becky is preceded in death by her grandson, Evan Sides; her sister, Judy Bashore; her brother, Michael Reed; her nephews, Tony and David; and her horses, Doc and Sam.

Becky is survived by the love of her life, Donn Buckingham; her daughter, Lorrie (Tim) Loudy; her son, Christopher Clifton (Jeanetta Stowe); her grandchildren, Mackenzie (Justin) Poynter, Ava Loudy, Sara Loudy, Zachary (Jessica) Clifton, and Jacob (Elizabeth) Clifton; and her great-grandchildren, Hudson, Landon, Ryan, Colten, Luka, Elliott, and Ellawyn (on the way). She is also survived by her step-grandchildren, Jenna (Kieran) Watson, and Caleb Stowe; her step-great-grandchildren, Kyler, Harper, and Alden; her horses, Chief and Ebony; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Becky's greatest joy in life was the love she shared with her family. She was deeply devoted to her beloved Donn, and together they shared a life filled with love, memories, and countless special moments. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to be together with them. Whether gathered around the table for a game of Euchre, cheering proudly from the sidelines at her grandchildren's sporting events, or simply enjoying time with the people she loved most, Becky was happiest when her family was near.

Becky worked in advertising for the Greenville Early Bird. She had a special love for horses and horseback riding and was a member of the Preble County Ohio Horseman's Council. She also found joy in the quiet moments of life, especially crocheting and creating things with her own hands.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. Burial will follow at Stelvideo Cemetery.

Guests may visit with Becky's family from 10:00 AM until the start of the service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
