Bill L. Gunckle

Bill L. Gunckle, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Beamsville on April 26, 2026.

Bill was born on October 28, 1957, to the late Robert J. and Patsy M. (Unger) Gunckle.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra (Profitt) Gunckle, whom he married October 6, 1984, their loving children, Jessica (Carl) Hudkins of Rossburg, Justin Gunckle of Rossburg, and Jonathan Gunckle of Rossburg; his brothers, Richard (Cheryl) Gunckle, and Jerry (Angie) Gunckle, both of Greenville; his sisters-in-law, Connie Hines, and Angie (Jerry) Gunckle; his brothers-in-law, Darrel (Deana) Holiday of Kettering, Dennis (Annie) Profitt, Kevin (Roberta) Profitt, and Rodney Profitt, all of Greenville; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bill graduated from Greenville High School in 1976 and worked as the office manager of Fitzwater, Inc., drove a school bus for Greenville City Schools for many years, and was a system manager at Arcanum Hardware. In 1996 he bought Electro Sonics in Greenville and started Gunckle Computer Services until he was forced to retire due to an illness. Bill also taught computer classes at Edison State Community College.

Bill was a member of the Annie Oakley Committee and served as President for a time.

Per Bill's wishes, there will be no funeral or viewing.
