Brent A. Perry

Brent Allan Perry, 52, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

He was born on October 2, 1971, in Greenville, Ohio, to Frank Douds, Jr. and Linda (Brown) Vehorn.

Brent is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Bob Vehorn of Arcanum; his wife, Evangeline Perry of Chicago, Illinois; his son, Dakota (Shae) Roberts of Independence, Virginia; his granddaughters, Stormi, Shadow, Sakara, and Saylor; his brothers, Jason Perry of Arcanum and Stephen (Christine) Perry of Chesapeake, Virginia; his stepsiblings, Dawn King of Union, Ohio, Shannon (Andrew) Pierce of Dublin, Ohio, and Abby Drees of Sidney, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Rocky.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Douds, Jr.

Brent was a member of the United States Navy, where he served honorably until he was discharged in 1996. While in the Navy, Brent served as a Radioman on the USS Enterprise and traveled around the world. Upon returning home, Brent worked for various tech companies, most recently Samsung. He loved to listen to music, go fishing, play billiards, and travel around the world. Brent was a computer wizard. If it had a computer in it, he could fix it. In his free time, Brent enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

A celebration of Brent’s life, with full military honors, will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

Guests may visit with Brent’s family on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help offset final expenses.
