Bryan E. Grice, age 63, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his home.
He was born on January 9, 1962, in Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Grice.
Bryan is survived by his girlfriend, Denise Piatt of Huber Heights; his sister, Nicole (Shane) Rorick-Meredith of Monroeville, Indiana; and his nieces, Gabby and Chloe Rorick.
Bryan attended National Trail High School and, from an early age, demonstrated an exceptional talent for craftsmanship. Known as a great handyman, he took immense pride in his ability to fix things, often lending his skills to family and friends. His commitment to service extended beyond his immediate circle, as he worked as a training manager for Dollar General, traveling across the country to train new employees.
A man of simple pleasures, Bryan found joy in the great outdoors, tending to his beloved garden, and sharing unforgettable moments in nature. His heart was as expansive as his kindness; he often went out of his way to help others in need, embodying the spirit of selflessness.
Bryan was also a respected member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge, holding the honor of being a 32nd degree Mason. He was a proud member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, where he exemplified the principles of brotherhood and service that the organization upholds.
His life, though simple in its rhythm, was rich with love and connection. Bryan will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
