Carol Jeanett Koons, age 86, of Hollansburg, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Oakley Place Nursing Home in Greenville.
She was born on April 6, 1940 in Liberty Township, Ohio to the late Paul and Reva (Jones) Koons.
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her brothers, Larry (Carole) Koons, Richard Koons, and Gary Koons.
Those left to cherish Carol's memory, include her sisters in law, Carol Koons and Francis Koons; nieces and nephews, Jeff (Abby) Koons, Brenda (Tom) Batty, Chris (Trent) Mote, Eric (Gail) Koons; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Carol retired from Reid Hospital, where she worked many years cleaning and up keeping rooms. She enjoyed being outside and working in the yard.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Tracy Brown officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Hollansburg Cemetery.
