Cecile A. Kaufman

Cecile A. Kaufman, 89, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday evening, November 5, 2008 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born in Darke County, daughter of the late A.E. and Alice M. (Zech) Paulin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene E. Kaufman on December 12, 1979, and a sister, Omah Smith. A homemaker, Cecile was a former aid at the St. Clair Home and then Rest Haven Nursing Home where she had worked for 15 years. She was a member of the Woodington Congregational Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Rogers of Boerne, TX and Louise (Don) Lucas of Greenville; grandchildren, Garrett Rogers, Andrew Rogers and Josh Rogers; great grandchildren, Allison Lawyer, Stacey Dunwiddie, Greg Rogers, Luke Lawyer and Aaron Lawyer; a sister, Thelma Grimes of Union City, OH; and a niece Paulette Evans of New Paris. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, November 8 at 11 a.m. at the Teegarden Cemetery near Ansonia with the Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice. Services have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
