Chuck was a proud 1958 graduate of Arcanum High School. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving his country honorably and faithfully. His time in the service reflected the dedication and strong work ethic that would define the rest of his life.
While still in high school, and continuing after his return home from the Marines, Chuck developed the skilled trade of plastering. He went on to spend more than 50 years in the industry, earning respect for his craftsmanship, reliability, and pride in a job well done.
Chuck enjoyed life's simple pleasures and the friendships that came with them. When the weather cooperated, he could often be found on the golf course enjoying a round with friends. When the weather turned cold or rainy, that same group gathered around a poker table. He also enjoyed bowling.
Above all, family meant the most to Chuck. He treasured time spent with his family and took pride in supporting them in their sporting events and activities.
