Corey Dean Stewart

Corey Dean Stewart, age 43, of Greenville, a devoted and loving husband and a proud father, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Corey was born on December 15, 1982, in Greenville, Ohio, to his loving parents, Jay (Cindy) Stewart and Carol (Rodney) Paul, who survive him.

He is also survived by his devoted wife, Jolene Stewart; his children, Haille "Xan" Stewart, Reese Stewart, Christian Stewart, and Ali Jane Stewart; his grandfather, Larry Paul; his siblings, Craig (Melanie) Stewart, Clint (Ashley) Stewart, Abbie (Matthew) Raffel, Joshua (Ashley) Stewart, and Tiffany (Chase) Borel; his stepbrother, Charles Ring; his sisters-in-law, Jessica (Rob) Shea and Juli Hann; his mother-in-law, Jane Hann; and his many beloved nieces and nephews, Stella Shea, Katelyn and Blake Stewart, Caison and Corbin Stewart, Cole and Ryker Marshall, Joshua Jr., Presley, Jayden and Jordan Stewart, and Connor Borel.

Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean and Darlene White, Everett and Dee Stewart, and Wanda Paul, as well as his stepbrother, Kyle Ring.

A graduate of Greenville High School, Corey went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly earned the title of Veteran. He carried the values instilled during his service-discipline, loyalty, and dedication-into every aspect of his life. After his military service, Corey built a career through his work at Vestis in Dayton, Ohio, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dependability. He was also a proud member of the Elks, valuing fellowship, community involvement, and the bonds formed through service to others.

In his free time, Corey found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer them on. He enjoyed fishing in the creek behind his home, finding peace and contentment outdoors. Corey faithfully attended his children's sporting events, always their biggest supporter. He also took great pride in maintaining his lawn and home, seeing it as a reflection of the care he showed for his family.

Corey will be remembered for his steady presence, his willingness to help others, and the deep love he had for his family. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on through the countless moments he shared with family and friends and the love he gave so freely.

A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. Guest may also visit from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Reverent Church, 1451 Sater St., Greenville, Ohio 45331.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Reverent Church with Pastor Eric Fee officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
