Dale Bowling, Sr., 71, of Union City, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.

Dale was born on March 4, 1953, in Adams County, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Genevieve (Howe) Bowling.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl McGhee, and an infant granddaughter.

Dale is survived by his children, Melenda Seiler, of Lewisburg; Dale Bowling, Jr., of Kentucky; Mia (Jason) Cleere, of Union City, Indiana; Matthew Bowling, of New Madison; Miranda Bowling, of Greenville; and Ashlyn Bowling, of Gettysburg. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his siblings, Benny (Robin) Bowling of Greenville, Christine Lynn of Hollansburg, R.C. (Cathy) Bowling of Greenville, and Teddy (Samantha) Bowling, of Dayton; and his close friend, Sabrina Shaneyfelt.

Dale graduated from Arcanum High School. He was a well-known and successful self-entrepreneur. In his free time, going hunting, hanging out with family and friends, and collecting muscle cars

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Bethel Cemetery in rural Wayne County, Indiana.

An open house celebration of Dale's life will follow the graveside service. Location will be announced at the graveside.
