Dale Vernon Garber, 67, was born on July 27, 1958, to Paul and Mildred Garber. He was raised on a farm outside of Greenville, where he learned early the values that would define his life: hard work, humility, faith, and love for family.
On May 31, 1986, Dale married the love of his life, Teresa Lambert. Together they built a beautiful life and home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to their family. Dale was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a joyful grandfather, cherishing every moment spent with those he loved most.
Dale was known by all who met him as one of the hardest-working and kindest men you could ever know. He dedicated over 40 years of faithful service to Hobart Brothers, where his strong work ethic and reliability were evident to all. That same dedication carried into his home life—if something was broken, Dale knew how to fix it, and if someone needed help, he was always there.
A man of deep faith, Dale loved Jesus wholeheartedly and lived his life as a quiet example of servant-hearted love. In retirement, he was truly enjoying the good life—spending cherished time with Teresa, delighting in his grandchildren, and savoring the blessings God had given him.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Paul Garber, and his sister, Colleen.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Garber; his mother, Mildred Garber; his children Regina (Michael) Wall, Hannah (Brett) Allison, Josiah (Haley) Garber, and Isaiah (Elizabeth) Garber, a “bonus” son, Eric Webster; his seven treasured grandchildren, Colton, Oliver, Lena, Charlotte, Weston, Faye, and Francesca; his siblings, Charlene Finley, Christine Farmer, Kenneth Hollinger, Jane (Dan) Long, and Carl Garber; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Dale’s legacy of faith, love, and hard work will live on through all who were blessed to know him.
