David N. Madden

David Nathan Madden, age 49, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

He was born on March 19, 1977, in San Antonio, Texas, to Gregory Madden and Robyn Sue (Hartman) Roberts.

David is survived by his children, Kayden Madden of Greenville, and Josie (Ryan Crampton) Madden of Greenville; his parents, Gregory (Cindy) Madden of Middletown, Ohio, and Robyn (Jim) Roberts of Middletown, Ohio; his brother, Jeff Madden of Franklin, Ohio; his nephews, Carter and Owen; the mother of his children, Kristina Madden of Greenville; and his special friend, Kristol Ponder.

He was a 1995 graduate of Edgewood High School in Trenton. David worked for many years at HEAPY Engineering and most recently served as Senior Project Manager for Gilbane Building Company.

David's children meant the world to him. He cherished every opportunity to spend time with them and support them in all they did. He could often be found barbecuing and grilling, or enjoying a round of golf. David was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on his favorite teams, the Ohio State Buckeyes football and the Cleveland Browns.

A celebration of David's life will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Homes, with Pastor Nick Good officiating.

Family and friends may visit with David's family from 5:00 PM until the start of the service at 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to help offset final expenses.
