David M. Rowland

David Marion Rowland, age 68, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at his home.

He was born on August 26, 1956 in Dayton, to the late Marion L. Rowland and Mary Lou (Shae) Knight.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Rowland.

David is survived by his siblings, Dale Rowland (Joyce) of Greenville and Diannie Rowland (Lisa) of Michigan, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

David joined the military and got his GED while in the service. He retired from the United States Army and is a proud veteran of the Navy and National Guard as well. David enjoyed watching Star Trek, researching Ancestry and Genealogy and spending time with his cat.

A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Dayton National Cemetery.
