Deborah Lou Shafer

Deborah Lou Shafer 66, of Greenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Heatland of Greeenville.

She was born September 24, 1946 in Greenville, Ohio, daughter of Treva (Schlamb) Shafer and the late D. R. Shafer.

Deborah had graduated from Greenville High School in 1964. She was an artist and graduated from the Art Institute of Dayton in 1968. She also belong to the Humane Society.

She is survived by her mother Treva Shafer of Greenville; sister Janice (Steve) Gibbons of Greenville; nephews, Matt (Teresa) Gibbons of Gettysburg, Brad (Julie) Gibbons of Versailles; 6 great nieces, Jena, Katie, Emma, Allyson, Madison and Taylor; and her beloved dogs.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Greenville Union Cemetery.

The family request that the memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
