Donald F. DeBord

Donald Fredrick DeBord, 82, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at his home.

He was born on July 11, 1944, to the late William A. and Oleva M. (Curtis) DeBord.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his son, John DeBord; his siblings, Faye (Pat) Johnson, William (Dorothy) DeBord, Ida Curall, Eddie (Mary) DeBord, Mary (Charles) Mutters, and Maxine (Brad) Stump; his father-in-law, Dean Brewer; and his sister-in-law, Susan Brewer.

Donald is survived by wife, Jana (Brewer) DeBord, whom he married on July 16, 1984; his children, Lisa (Dennis) Hardin of Arizona, Misty DeBord of Las Vegas, Nevada, Stephanie Knowles of Tipp City, Ohio, William (Ashley) DeBord of Greenville, and Olivia DeBord of Versailles. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Ashlee, Liam, Caleb, Sawyer, Saylor, Grayson, Taylor, Lindsay, and Leeanne; his great-grandchild, Sailor; his mother-in-law, Thelma Brewer of Beamsville; and his brothers-in-law, Greg Brewer of Bradford, and Kenny (Pam) Brewer of Greenville.

Donald was a 1962 graduate of Stivers High School. He worked for General Motors in Monroe, Ohio, until his retirement with 31.8 years of service.

Donald was a proud member of the Western Ohio Coon Hunters Association and had a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed coon hunting and fishing, spending countless memorable hours outdoors doing what he loved. He was also a member of the Hog Getters Fishing Club.

A celebration of Don's life will be held at 7:00 PM, on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Home.

Guests may visit with Don's family on Monday from 5:00 PM until the start of the service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to EverHeart Hospice.
