Donald Lee Floyd

Donald Lee Floyd, age 90 of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Brethren Home in Greenville.

He was born on May 24, 1934 in Bradford to the late Benjamin Franklin Floyd and Cleo Fern Floyd.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeanette Marie Floyd; infant son, Steven Floyd; and many siblings. 

Those left to cherish Donald's memory include his children, Douglas (Chasity) Floyd, Jeffery (Julie) Floyd, Larry (Lisa) Floyd, and Michael (Diana) Floyd; 3 grandchildren, Kory (Kristin) Floyd, Benjamin Floyd, and Emily Floyd (fiancee Devon Robbins); 6 step grandchildren, Jason, Deidre, Kimberly, Kyle, Brandee, and Ryan; 15 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Phyllis Horton and Betty Criswell. 

Donald was a veteran of the United States Navy Reserves. He graduated from Bradford High School in 1952. He worked for and retired from Sheller Globe in Union City, IN, where he worked for 35 years. Donald belonged to the Greenville Eagles and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Cleveland Browns. 

Services for Donald will be held at a later date.
