Elaine Harvey

Elaine Harvey, age 80, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Village Green Health Campus in Greenville.

She was born on August 5, 1945, in Everts, Kentucky, to the late Alex and Vera Mae (Rutherford) Barnes.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Barnes, and her sister, Wanda Smith.

Elaine is survived by her loving children, Michelle (Todd) Force of Greenville and Freddy Harvey of Richmond; her cherished grandchildren, Ashley Martin, Chris Force, Savannah Pitsenbarger, and Charlize Harvey; her great-grandchildren, Blake Martin, Bentley Martin, and Connor Force; and her brother, Howard Barnes of Greenville.

Elaine worked for many years at Fram. She loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially gathering everyone together for family dinners, which were very important to her. Elaine also enjoyed reading, listening to country music, and watching westerns. One of her favorite places to visit was Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. 

A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Eric Fee and Hershel Fee officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
