Gloria "Jeanie" Jean Brumbaugh, age 85, of Arcanum, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, July 24, 2026.
She was born on August 30, 1940, in Laura, Ohio, to the late Austie and Gertie Furlong.
Jeanie is survived by her loving children, Lori (Wayne) Stutz, Patti (Scott) Campbell, and Karen (Shane) Bietry; her cherished grandchildren, Christina (Brad) Moser, Matthew (Lyndsay) Huffman, Katie (Andy) Vetter, Angela (Justin) Miller, Trista (Jimmy) Noe, Alexandra Bietry, Peyton Bietry, and Andrea Bietry; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Aaron, Luke, Josie, Jase, and Emma Moser, Olivia and Bryce Huffman, Matty and Ben Noe, Harper, Hayden, and Harlee Miller, and Easton and Elise Vetter.
Jeanie was a faithful member of Faith United Methodist Church in Arcanum, where she faithfully served as the church organist for more than 60 years. Her love for music was a gift she shared with her church family and community throughout her life. Above all, she was a devoted servant of God whose faith guided every aspect of her life.
Alongside her husband, Jeanie established Brumbaugh Fruit Farm, creating not only a successful family business but a lasting legacy rooted in hard work and dedication. She was also an active member of the Sunny Side Literary Club and the Arcanum Garden Club. She treasured her husband, family, and community, and found immense joy in attending her grandchildren's sporting events and every activity they participated in.
Family and friends may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Faith United Methodist Church in Arcanum.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Faith United Methodist Church in Arcanum with Pastor Mike Back officiating. Burial will follow at Abbottsville Cemetery.
